Proper Education
Learning is never ending. Proper training or workshop is your second step! You can’t start if you don’t know
what you are going to deal with. This is an event where you will meet your mentors. Man, you can’t start
on your own! You need the help of professionals. Talk to the right people, else you’ll only end up aggravated.
I, had gone through this process, too. It opened my eyes to the reality and how broad the industry is!

Are you serious?
This might require a lot of work, but it’ll be worth it. We all know that “Practice makes Perfect”, thus, this
means, you get to spend time and focus on developing your skills. In other words, in order to do Voiceover
as a “part time” or “full time” job, you got to be serious about it! This is your craft. Pursue gigs and convince
the clients of the type of service that you can give them, not to mention your professionalism.

Enjoy!
You are never meant to play around recording booths and offices where you will be working at but still,
you have to enjoy what you have started. Love it without hesitation. Think of it as a fun battle which you and
your client will withstand hand-in-hand. I am not saying that you shouldn’t be thinking of financial
endeavour, but, if you are ecstatic to the point that the crowd is satisfied with the way you do your craft,
your return of investment will be just as fulfilling as well. If money is the first thing you have in mind then
nothing’s gonna happen to you, bruh.

Perform a habit!
The usual saying still applies, “practice makes perfect!” Even if you have already started recording, make
sure to exercise your articulators daily. Make it a habit! Athletes are not good at what they do just
because they think that they are good at it. Enhancements are done on the side and not on the spot.

One last thing!
Just a piece of advice, your future depends on how you think today. If you feel doing something you
are interested in, do it now, otherwise, you might run through it in the end with regret. But, keep in
mind that there is no age limit being a Voice Over artist.
